Vanderbilt University Blair Academy

Vanderbilt’s Blair Academy offers top quality music education for children, youth, and adults: Kindermusik for infants through age 5; private lessons in orchestral and folk instruments, piano, and voice; Blair Children’s Chorus - seven choirs for singers in grades 1-12; and Vanderbilt Youth Orchestra offers eight orchestras. Classes for children, youth and adults are offered in music theory, history, culture, songwriting and more. Vanderbilt’s acclaimed faculty teach in the Academy as well as the university. Need-based and merit scholarships are available to ensure that all qualified students may pursue their musical skills.
