Programs created by experienced educators make the First Amendment, media literacy, civics and journalism relevant to students’ lives. 

Offerings include:  
• FREE TEACHER RESOURCES: Visit newseumED.org to access primary sources, videos, historic front pages, activities, lesson plans and more. Explore thematic EDCollections, which are curated sets of primary sources, lesson plans and interactives that illustrate the role of the First Amendment in U.S. history.
• FREE LEARNING CENTER CLASSES: Hands-on, inquiry-based classes linked to national standards of learning are available at the Newseum and virtually. 

Public, private and home school groups in the Washington, D.C., metro area receives free admission thanks to WTOP 103.5 FM. For a list of eligible school districts, visit newseumED.org/fieldtrip.
