Christian Home Educators Co-op (CHEC)
Homeschool co-op classes.
We meet once a week from 8:30-12:30 on Wednesdays at Fellowship Bible Church. You must be a member of CHEC (Christian Home Educators Community) and we do have a statement of faith.
We offer classes from birth through 12th. In our Pre-K through 2nd grade, we have all unit study-based instruction with PE and playground time. These classes are usually supplemented with craft, story and some basic academic structure. No phonics, reading or math is the main instruction time.
All sciences are taught from a biblical world view but in high school science classes, other theories can be explored through the curriculum. We use Apologia and Berean Builders textbooks.

Righteous Options 4 Christian Kids
ROCK Homeschool Co-op is a conservative Christian home schooling community that seeks to support families who have chosen to educate at home. The parent-led co-op classes are offered in two semesters, one in the fall and one in the spring. The classes can be a mixture of academic and non-academic oriented topics, but none are designed to replace a quality home curriculum. We encourage all of our families to be compliant with the homeschooling guidelines in Texas. We are located in La Vernia. Our group also meets for occasional park days and field trips, and we encourage our students to organize and participate in service projects. The mothers in our co-op have enjoyed monthly Moms' Nights Out, casserole circle in times of need, and prayer and support from other Christian homeschooling moms.

Giving Our Children Opportunity (GOCO)
A Christian homeschool community co-op, intent on glorifying Jesus as we gather weekly to enrich our childrens' educational experiences and serve homeschooling families closer to the downtown area.
GOCO stands for Giving Our Children Opportunities, and our co-op does just that. It allows our children to enjoy enrichment classes with friends within the safe confines of a parent led program. Our full time program for 11 yrs old and younger students requires full time parent participation. Your oldest child must be at least 5 years old by September 1st of the current school year to qualify for full time membership. Students who are 12 yr old and older may attend full time, or also have the option to participate on a part time basis and may be dropped off.
